Elizabeth Olsen Responds To Robert Downey Jr's MCU Return As Doctor Doom
Marvel Cinematic Universe star Elizabeth Olsen reveals her experience of discovering the news about Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom casting for Avengers: Doomsday. The summer came with perhaps the biggest news for the MCU timeline in a very long time, as Downey Jr. took the stage at San Diego Comic-Con to reveal he will return to the franchise in 2026's Avengers: Doomsday. However, the Iron Man star will be donning a very different costume and role this time around, as Downey Jr.
Lots of people were texting me saying, 'I can’t believe this about Downey, did you know?' and I was like, 'I have no idea what you’re talking about,' and had to go on the internet to find out . There’s a Marvel brain that just lets us know . Olsen is open to returning to the MCU as Scarlet Witch, as she recently said, "If there's a good way to use her, I'm always happy to come back." There are a lot of theories circulating that Wanda will actually be back in the MCU as early as this fall, as many are speculating Scarlet Witch will be resurrected somehow in the Agatha All Along TV show.
