Elizabeth Chambers’ kids don’t know about her romantic link to her new boyfriend because she wants to “mitigate trauma.”
The Bird Bakery founder said in an Instagram Q&A Monday that she’s holding off on sharing the news with daughter Harper, 8, and son Ford, 6, because she’s still going through her divorce from“They don’t know he’s my BF,” Chambers wrote in response to a follower who asked how her kids were with her beau,“Over the past two and a half years, my main priority has been to mitigate trauma and protect my kids at all costs.
Chambers, 40, said she doesn’t find it “helpful, productive, or necessary” for her kids to meet Kazinec while they’re still “emotionally processing” their parents’ divorce. The Bird Bakery founder wants to “mitigate trauma” as Ford and Hopper learn to accept their mom’s divorce from Armie Hammer.Although the Texas native hasn’t informed her kids about Kazinec, shewith the 26-year-old in September 2022 after weeks of teasing his presence in her life. The pair met in the Cayman Islands, where Chambers has been living since the start of the pandemic.
