Grove Ave.
Those willing to pay $10 can access the sale on its preview night from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release. Otherwise the sale is free and open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.Sale proceeds help the foundation fund programs and events held at the library. East Dundee’s fifth annual Oktoberfest will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, and 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, outside The Depot at 319 N. River St. The free event will include food and beverages from local vendors, children’s activities, a play area with inflatables, a scarecrow display and live music, according to the village website.
Set to perform Friday are The Polkaholics and Beyond the Blonde. On the bill Saturday are Die Kellerknaben, Lounge Puppets and The Prince Experience.
