“About the Imbalance Cost Pass-Through , it won’t be 14%, no! The revision every six months is based on the current rate. So I don’t think that it will be something that overburdens the community,” Anwar said at the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia CNY event in KL yesterday, reported by

The change is part of the three-year Regulatory Period 4 that will be effective from January 2025 to December 2027, replacing RP3 2022-2024. However, from January to end-June 2025, there will be no change in the electricity tariff rate and tariff structure, giving the public half a year to adjust. The current tariff schedule has been in place since 2014.
