Election court nullifies PN’s GE15 victory in Kemaman

PETALING JAYA: The election court in Kuala Terengganu has nullified Perikatan Nasional’s victory in the Kemaman parliamentary seat at the 15th general election. Election judge Anselm Charles Fernandis ruled in favour of the petitioner Wan Hisham Wan Abdul Hamid in his bid to unseat Che Alias Hamid of PAS.In the nationwide polls last year, Che Alias won the seat with a 27,179 vote majority in four cornered fight.
