AlorSetar MBAS akan melakukan pemantauan berterusan di kawasan premis rumah kedai di Jalan Tunku Ibrahim bagi memastikan ia bebas tempat pembiakan nyamuk.
Datuk Bandar Alor Setar, Datuk Mohd Zohdi Saad berkata, pemeriksaan berterusan itu akan dilakukan dengan kerjasama Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah Kota Setar supaya kejadian wabak Chikungunya tidak berulang.
“Saya difahamkan 10 premis sudah dikenakan kompaun oleh PKD kelmarin, jadi kita mengharapkan kerjasama penduduk bersama-sama menjaga kebersihan dan melakukan kawalan sendiri,” katanya ketika ditemui selepas meninjau premis kedai di Jalan Tunku Ibrahim hari ini.
