The El Paso County sheriff will investigate a fatal police shooting Monday at a mall in Colorado Springs.
The suspect was spotted in a stolen vehicle and he reportedly met up with four people who were in another vehicle, which was also stolen, the sheriff’s office said. At about 5:12 p.m., the five were exiting the mall near a food court when officers made contact, all five fled on foot, the sheriff’s office said.
