El PSG también revolucionó su mediocampo con las adquisiciones del uruguayo Manuel Ugarte y el surcoreano Kang-in Lee. La zaga se reforzó con Lucas Hernández y Milan Skriniar. Los inversionistas qataríes, que tomaron el control del club en 2011, confían que la nueva estrategia sea la acertada para poder trasladar su dominio doméstico a Europa. Y también confían que Luis Enrique, ganador de la Liga de Campeones, la Liga de España y la Copa del Rey en su primera temporada de su etapa al mando del Barcelona.
Pero los nuevos jugadores aún no acaban de acoplarse y el estilo de posesión del técnico español no ha dado dividendos inmediatos.
