Halle made this known in Ado Ekiti at the ADP secretariat in Similoluwa, Ado Ekiti, while unveiling the new Chairman of ADP in Ekiti State, Mr Ayodeji Ojo. Speaking to journalists, Halle affirmed that the new chairman had served the party diligently for eight years, adding that she can attest to his ability to take the party to an enviable height. According to her, her decision to leave the party was a personal decision having X-rayed the last election and consulted widely with stakeholders.

She said APC is a family that cares, adding that Governor Biodun Oyebanji has shown her love and respect beyond expectations. Halle noted that APC celebrated her and supported her during her father’s burial just as she opened up that she is not interested in struggling for the ticket with Oyebanji. She said, “I decided to join APC because of the love I have received from Governor Oyebanji and because I believe in the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
