Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has denounced the proposed relocation of Palestinian residents from Gaza to Egypt and Jordan as unjust and asserted his country's opposition to such an endeavor. Sisi made these remarks during a press conference in Cairo alongside Kenyan President William Ruto, emphasizing Egypt's longstanding support for the Palestinian cause and its commitment to a two-state solution leading to lasting peace in the Middle East.
KAHERAH: Presiden Mesir, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi berkata, pemindahan paksa penduduk Gaza adalah satu ketidakadilan dan menegaskan negaranya tidak boleh mengambil bahagian dalam usaha sedemikian.
“Pendirian Mesir mengenai perjuangan Palestin sejak dahulu lagi tidak boleh dikompromi,” kata Abdel Fattah semasa sidang akhbar di Kaherah bersama Presiden Kenya, William Ruto. Beliau menambah, Mesir bertekad untuk bekerjasama dengan Trump bagi mencapai keamanan yang diinginkan berdasarkan penyelesaian dua negara.
Selepas gencatan senjata Israel-Hamas dikuatkuasakan pada 19 Januari lalu, Trump menggembar-gemburkan rancangan untuk ‘membersihkan’ Semenanjung Gaza.
