By doing this, it will offer us a new direction to redeem the image of the nation”, he said. He warned “ those compromising their works and positon to desist from such conduct, as dire consequences await every unsavoury tendency”.

The Senate has urged the Federal Government to construct the Dasin Hausa Dam to serve as a permanent solution to the annual flooding of River Benue. The upper chamber also urged the Federal Government to intervene, through the Ecological Fund Office, to construct some of the flood prevention structures such as embankments at key points…
