Recastled founder Kosha Gada says Australia’s education sector is one of the most “inefficient” in the economy.
“A lot of these schools are non-profits, but the margins of just delivering the product versus what they earn in revenue via government funding or fees is huge; 80 per cent plus gross margins,” she told commentator Steve Price.
Ms Gada said declining numeracy and literacy results in schools is a result of “scope creep” and how less emphasis is placed on core subjects.
