Education Ministry monitoring schools in haze-hit Sarawak
Education Minister Maszlee Malik says the government is monitoring schools in Sarawak, where the haze situation is serious, and will take appropriate action to ensure the health and safety of students.

THE Education Ministry is monitoring all schools in Sarawak, especially students sitting for the UPSR following very unhealthy air pollutant index readings this morning. Education Minister Maszlee Malik said the Sarawak Education Department will be taking appropriate measures to ensure the safety of students based on the existing standard operating procedure.
