However, the study only shows a connection, not a definite cause-effect relationship, that the drug for ED is necessarily beneficial to Alzheimer’s patients. The study compared participants with prescriptions for erectile dysfunction drugs to those without and found that during the research period, 1,119 people developed Alzheimer’s disease.
