BUTTERWORTH: More than one tonne of ecstasy pills worth RM78mil were seized by the Customs Department following a raid at the North Butterworth Container Terminal.
Believed to be the largest haul in the country this year, the 1,063kg of pills were stored in silent air compressors found in one of the containers.
He said there were 20 silent compressors in the container but only 14 were modified to hide the drugs.
