ECRL dapat bantu pulihkan ekonomi, kata Daim

PROJEK Laluan Rel Pantai Timur harus diutamakan dari projek kereta api laju Kuala Lumpur - Singapura kerana ia dapat membantu memulihkan ekonomi, kata bekas menteri kewangan Daim Zainuddin. Daim berkata 85% daripada projek ECRL bernilai RM44 bilion dibiayai dengan pinjaman dari bank EXIM China dan pembayaran balik pinjaman hanya bermula sebaik sahaja landasan kereta api beroperasi pada 2027.
