The Ebonyi government said on Wednesday it spent N17.3 billion on remedial work at the Chuba Okadigbo International Airport runway in Abakaliki.
Gov. Francis Nwifuru said this in Abakaliki on the occasion of his one-year anniversary in Abakaliki.
Nwifuru listed some of the rural roads started and completed, including Umuoghara Power Station Road, Legacy FM Road on concrete pavement, and Obvuduechi market-lziogo Road. The youth wing of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, has rated President Bola Tinubu's administration above average. The Igbo group made this assessment as the current administration marks one year in office on May 29.
