Eatery worker denies threatening doctors via Facebook
A RESTAURANT employee claimed trial in the Petaling Jaya Sessions Court today to a charge threatening several doctors over the Covid vaccine through Facebook.
Norhakim Nordin, 39, was charged with improper use of the network facilities by knowingly making and initiating the transmission of threatening communications through the Facebook profile of “Hakim Nordin” with the intent to annoy others, at 11.12pm last January 22.
Judge Azrul Darus allowed him bail of RM5,000 with one surety and set February 15 next year for mention. Prosecuting officer from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, Nur Nazhzilah Mohammad Hashim prosecuted, while Norhakim was unrepresented. – Bernama, December 8, 2022.
