Eateries, night markets opening up to save economy, says Noor Hisham
Putrajaya today announced that dining in at eateries and night markets will be allowed beginning tomorrow as Malaysia hits a record high of 22,948 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, August 19, 2021.
THE public have been warned not to be complacent with the opening up of more economic sectors, including dining in at eateries and night markets beginning tomorrow – for those who have been fully vaccinated in phase 1 states. Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said these places are being reopened to support the economy and not because it was safe from Covid-19.
