'Eat Bulaga' is not undergoing a rebranding but a rebonding process under the management of the Jalosjos family. This is according to Bullet Jalosjos, the Chief Finance Officer of TAPE Inc., which produces the long-running noontime show.

"Actually people are talking about rebranding but ang nga joke ni Joey [De Leon] mismo, it's not a rebranding, it's actually a rebonding," he said. According to Jalosjos, their family is playing a more active role in the running of "Eat Bulaga" with the retirement of Tuviera and Malou Choa-Fagar, the former COO of TAPE."We haven't been visible, we haven't been felt, and ngayon, we need all the help we can get," he added.
