Bookseller’s managing director says potential hack was detected on Wednesday and investigation has been launched
Bookstore chain Dymocks has warned customers of a possible data breach that could lead to their personal information being leaked on the dark web.
“On [Wednesday], Dymocks became aware that an unauthorised party may have access to some of our customer records,” he told customers.Newman said an investigation to assess what had happened was launched as soon as the breach was detected. The company apologised and said it was unsure how many customers were impacted and promised to update those affected.
