Peter Dutton has taken aim at the AFL and NRL “elites” for publicly declaring their positions on the Voice accusing the top brass at the sporting codes of telling supporters how to vote.
The AFL joined the NRL in declaring its position on the constitutional question on Thursday, adding to Rugby Australia, Football Australia, Tennis Australia and the Australian Olympic Committee who have all thrown their weight behind the issue.

“It is entirely their call. We're not here to tell organisations whether they be sporting bodies, or any other for that matter, what they should or shouldn't put forward.
