Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz joins Verstappen on the front row. Verstappen’s Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez will start Sunday’s race from third. “It was a bit of a tricky weekend so far but we managed to be there at the end, so very happy with that.“ seem very quick, also in the long runs. So a bit of a question mark tomorrow but that makes it exciting.”
In his final Australian GP before his move to Ferrari next year, the Mercedes legend was eliminated at the end of Q2 in dramatic fashion.
