Duo remanded for five days for suspected fraud

SRIPERUMBUDUR, India (Reuters) - Hundreds of workers at a Samsung Electronics plant in southern India put up tents outside the factory as they plan to boycott work to demand higher wages, a move that is set to disrupt the South Korean giant's operations for a second day.

MELAKA: A director and general manager of an advertising company were remanded for five days to assist in an investigation related to the submission of false reports on billboard installation projects across the state.

The duo were apprehended at 3pm on Monday after they were summoned to state MACC headquarters in Alai here to assist in the investigation.
