In a stunning move, Duncanville star and incoming Texas freshman Ron Holland has decided to re-open his recruitment.

AUSTIN – Less than 24 hours after landing coveted Oral Roberts transfer guard Max Abmas, Texas head coach Rodney Terry suffered a significant – and unexpected – setback in his efforts to rebuild the Longhorns’ roster.
“I want to take this time to thank head coach RT and the entire Texas coaching staff for their consideration. I would also like to thank the Longhorn Nation for all their love and support,” Holland said. “While this has been a difficult process, I have decided to decommit from the University of Texas and reopen my recruitment. Texas will still be one of my top schools of choice.”
Holland averaged 20.3 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists two steals per game while leading the Panthers to a 29-1 record and No. 3 ranking in the ESPN Top 25 this past season.
