Nestor Hernandez, 24, admitted Thursday to 2023 crash that killed Arizona resident Vanessa Urbina Aragonez, 22.
A man who drove under the influence and struck two people standing outside their vehicle in Pacific Beach, killing one of them, pleaded guilty this week to charges that include murder.
Police said that around 1:30 a.m., Urbina Aragonez and her boyfriend were standing on the sidewalk next to their parked SUV on Riviera Drive when a Toyota Tacoma driven by Hernandez struck them.
