Ketua Polis Daerah Kuala Terengganu, Asisten Komisioner Abdul Rahim Md. Din berkata, suspek memperdaya mangsa dengan mengatakan maklumat diri mereka disalah guna bagi tujuan jenayah. “Suspek kemudian mengarahkan mangsa membuka akaun bank dan memindahkan sejumlah wang ke dalam akaun terbabit dengan alasan mahu menolong menyelesaikan kes itu.
