Kota Kinabalu: Seorang ahli perniagaan dan pemandu dibebaskan daripada pertuduhan berasingan memiliki rokok seludup, minuman beralkohol, dan mercun bernilai lebih sejuta ringgit.
Tan Pick Len@ Tan Pick Lan, 71 dan pemandu Omar Kiftiani, 36, dilepaskan dan dibebaskan oleh Majistret Wan Farrah Farriza Wan Ghazali, tanpa memanggil pembelaan mereka.Mahkamah memutuskan bahawa pihak pendakwaan gagal membuktikan kes prima facie terhadap Tan dan Omar. Bagi Tan, untuk pertuduhan pertama, dia didakwa memiliki rokok seludup dan alkohol itu di sebuah rumah di Kg Bontoi, Tamparuli pada 23 Jan 2019, jam 12.30 tengah hari.
