Investigators are looking into the possibility that a drug syndicate was behind the February 17 ambush on the convoy of Lanao del Sur Governor Mamintal Alonto Adiong Jr.
According to an Unang Balita report from GMA Regional TV One Mindanao on Tuesday, police said they are now focusing on seven suspects who are supposed members of a drug syndicate.On February 17, authorities destroyed P5 million worth of marijuana in a plantation in Maguing town.
