BANGKOK: The Ameican scholar teaching in Thailand who was jailed on charges of insulting the country's monarchy - an offence punishable by up to 15 years in prison - was released on bail on Wednesday (April 9), but also had his visa revoked, an indication he could be deported soon.
KUALA LUMPUR: The number of dengue fever cases dropped to 1,021 in Epidemiological Week 13 , from March 23 to 29, compared to 1,129 cases reported the previous week.
He said the cumulative number of dengue cases reported up to EW13 stood at 16,296 with 10 deaths, compared to 44,144 cases and 31 deaths during the same period last year.
