(Reuters) -Microsoft has agreed to pay AI startup Inflection about $650 million in cash in an unusual deal that would allow Microsoft to use Inflection's models and hire most of the startup's staff including its co-founders, a person familiar with the matter told Reuters on Thursday.
IN order to capitalise on current market trends to elevate export prospects for Malaysia’s healthcare sector, the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation is collaborating with the South-East Asian Healthcare and Pharma Show .SEACare 2024 presented an opportunity for the local healthcare sector players to enhance brand recognition and promote their products and services to the South-East Asian market.
Capitalising on its network of 49 overseas offices, Matrade is aiming to facilitate meetings with about 20 international buyers from the healthcare sector and local suppliers. The New Industrial Master Plan 2030 identified medical devices and pharmaceuticals as priority sectors and part of the key areas for development.
“The country’s infrastructure, coupled with specialised medical treatments and affordable fees, makes Malaysia an attractive destination for medical tourism.” Matrade fosters strategic partnerships with industry leaders, facilitating targeted promotional campaigns, active participation in pivotal industry events, and fostering networking opportunities.
