A DRIVER who was spotted"veering into a cycle lane" allegedly went on to fail a drugs test.
In the early hours of March 12, cops saw the car drive at speed before entering the cycle lane on Ayr Road, Newton Mearns..East Renfrewshire Police wrote:"About 0130 on 12/03/23, officers saw a vehicle drive at speed, then veer into the cycle lane on Ayr Road Newton Mearns. "The vehicle was stopped, and the 21-year-old male driver failed a drug test. at the scene. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
