A 30-year-old lorry driver involved in a road accident that killed a woman in Nilai yesterday was remanded for four days to assist investigations. The suspect tested positive for methamphetamine during a urine test conducted yesterday.
SEREMBAN: Seorang lelaki yang merupakan pemandu lori terbabit dalam nahas rempuhan ke atas lima buah kereta sehingga mengakibatkan kematian seorang wanita di Nilai dekat sini semalam direman selama empat hari untuk membantu siasatan.
Katanya lagi, hasil ujian urin ke atas pemandu lori berkenaan yang diambil semalam juga mendapati suspek positif dadah jenis methaphetamine. Kejadian berlaku lebih kurang pukul 3.45 petang di Jalan Persiaran Negeri dekat Persimpangan Lampu Isyarat Persiaran Golf, Nilai di sini. “Apabila sampai di persimpangan lampu isyarat Persiaran Golf, Nilai lorih hilang kawalan dan terbabas lalu melanggar lima buah kereta yang sedang berhenti di lampu isyarat berwarna merah.
