An investigation by the agencies revealed that John DeTulio, 36, of Colts Neck, was driving “at a right rate of speed” on the busy highway in the area of Ferry Road at 12:25 a.m. on Jan. 28 when he struck and killed Harvey Berse, 69, of Old Bridge, the office said. A spokesman for the office has said the crash was not a hit-and-run and that multiple vehicles hit Berse.Anyone with information about the incident was asked to call Officer Steven Connolly of the Old Bridge Police Department at 732-721-5600, ext. 3821, or Det.
