Wilson Familia, 22, and Benjamin Futerman, 32, are accused of driving aggressively, recklessly, and at a high-rate of speed prior to the crash.
A Monmouth County man faces manslaughter and vehicular homicide charges in a crash that killed his wife and injured several other people in Old Bridge last month.Futerman, of Manalapan, and Wilson Familia, 22, drove recklessly and at a high rate of speed before colliding with other vehicles shortly after 1 a.m. on June 2, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
Ciccone said investigators determined that speeding combined “with aggressive and reckless driving contributed to the collision.” Familia, of Old Bridge, surrendered to township police on Monday. He was charged with second-degree aggravated assault, fourth-degree assault by auto, and two counts of third-degree aggravated assault for the injuries sustained by his passengers.
