Dricus du Plessis took to X (formerly Twitter) to thank rapper Drake for betting R8m against him.
UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis caused a huge upset over the weekend when he defended his title against Israel Adesanya.
The Sticky rapper placed an R8m bet on Adesanya to come out on top. It wasn’t meant to be and the Drake ‘curse’ struck once again when Du Plessis executed a rear naked choke to take the win after rocking the ‘Stylebender’ to take Adesanya down, reported Daily Mail. Film director Ofentse Mwase commented: “Drake just keep betting against the Champ, and we’ll keep the legacy of your Curse alive!”
