Draymond Green had nothing but praise for the Warriors owner on his podcast.

, he took the time to compliment owner Joe Lacob. Steve Kerr, the episode’s guest, got in on it as well.

“Listen, Joe can be tough at times, and I think we all know Joe can be tough at times, because he has that seem thing that me and you have: He just hates to lose,” Green said. “Losing for him, it drives him up a wall. Joe, like myself, wears his emotions on his sleeve. But at the end of it, you can always turn back and say, ‘I know that guy wants to win as bad, or more, than we want to win.’”

Green could be expensive to retain, but may be impossible to replace, in more ways than one. Yes, extending Green would contribute to thethat the new collective bargaining agreement puts on high-spending teams like Lacob’s Warriors.
