After a seventeen-year break, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero brings back classic mechanics from the Budokai Tenkaichi series. The game includes new characters and features, alongside returning techniques like the Delta Heavy Finish, formerly known as Tri-Attack, which is now available through specific combo routes to certain characters.

After a seventeen-year gap since the last entry in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, you might think Dragon Ball : Sparking Zero is a much different game. While it certainly has plenty of new characters and fresh features to spruce things up, there are many returning mechanics from previos games. The Z Burst Dash and Sonic Sway are two of note. You can do a Delta Heavy Finish in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero at the end of a Rush Chain. Be sure to double-check a character’s list of Rush Chain Actions. Some do have the Heavy Finishes Chain, but can only follow up with a Heavy Crush combo. The inputs for the initial Rush Chain depend on the character.
