is a Japanese anime adaptation of the manga series of the same name. Created by Akira Toriyama, the series revolves around Goku, an orphan youngling who is adopted by a fighting master called Gohan. This time out, we see Goku escaping the flying fortress right before it explodes. His dragon radar takes him to a forest, where he encounters the Red Ribbon Army.
Originally aired in 1986, the second season opens with Goku leveraging the Nimbus Cloud to flee from the flying fortress. Meanwhile, Master Roshi reveals that the seven Dragon Balls were once a single entity. In order to evade the evil forces trying to exploit it, the ball split into seven pieces. Following the signal on his dragon radar, Goku ventures into a forest. There, he finds the Red Ribbon Army, who are also on the lookout for a dragon ball.
