BioWare is squashing a late-game bug that takes the wind out of its ending’s sails
Dragon Age : The Veilguard is getting its first patch this week, and friends, this is about to fix one of the worst things about the latest entry in BioWare’s fantasy RPG series. The studio hasn’t released full patch notes, but it has confirmed the update will address a bug that broke my heart as a long-time fan of the series who had been waiting for this game for ten years. According to a post on BioWare’s social channels, the patch is coming later this week for all platforms.
Unfortunately, there was a bug that made their custom appearance revert back to one of the default settings found in the character creator when starting the game. Folks, it was a massive bummer to get to some of those big story moments and not see my old hero as he should look. But hopefully this patch will rectify that issue so no one else has to deal with that when they reach the ending.
