KUALA LUMPUR: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad 's sons have been given a final 30-day extension to declare their assets, says Tan Sri Azam Baki .
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner said the former prime minister's sons, Mirzan and Mokhzani were given until mid-September to provide details of their assets, Bernama reported. “This is the final decision and after they have declared their assets, we will inform the media of the latest developments,” he said at a press conference after launching the Anti-Corruption Prevention Initiative Through Strengthening Accounting and Auditing Practices, at the Royale Chulan Hotel here on Wednesday .On Jan 18, MACC had presented a notice to Mirzan and Mohkzani to declare all of their assets in the country and abroad they had accumulated since 1981.
She was reported as saying that everyone, including herself, has the right to seek the truth and evidence regarding the matter, which also involves Asia Mobility where her husband, M. Ramachandran, is the chief executive officer.
