JUST IN: An Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper and another individual was hospitalized in a crash this morning. STORY:
Officials say a trooper was investigating a crash on the I-10 near 40th Street in Phoenix just before 7:30 a.m., when he was rear-ended by another vehicle.
The person driving was an adult female, who is being detained on suspicion of DUI, according to officials.Two children were in the vehicle with the woman and were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.A female passenger was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.No further information is available. This crash is currently under investigation.
