THE government has spent RM3.3 million to help Kuala Koh’s Bateq residents, who were hit by a measles outbreak in June. Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said RM2 million was for the construction of a power supply system by Tenaga Nasional Bhd, RM800,000 for a water treatment system and RM434,000 for various forms of aid, including food supplies.
