In his first interview since the completion of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, President Donald Trump spoke at length on his reaction to the investigation and continued to say he has been exonerated by Mueller.
"It’s gone on for a long time, almost since the beginning of my term, and if you look at it, we’ve done so much despite that. It was a cloud. It was a cloud that most people didn’t believe, fortunately," the president said."They spent more than 30 million dollars, hundreds of interview with people, in some cases very innocent people were put through the wringer, millions of document pages.
Later in the interview, Trump said Russia has nothing on him. If they did, he said,"it would have come out a long time ago. Probably a long time before I ran because they would have been better off, much better off." The president went on to cite what his administration has done for allowing offshore drilling and gas prices, saying that Russia did not want competition in that area."Hillary wouldn’t have let you drill; there’d be no oil, there’d be no gas.
