The New York City Police Department is making similar preparations; officers were ordered to show up in full uniform on Friday in anticipation of unrest.“The department remains ready and available to respond to protests and counter-protests,” the NYPD said in a statement.

Trump was indicted by a Manhattan Grand Jury on Thursday in connection to an investigation into hush money paid to porn star Stormy Daniels.
