Topping the list again was Tesla founder Elon Musk, followed by Amazon's Jeff Bezo's.
NEW YORK — Former President Donald Trump was absent from Forbes’ list of the nation’s richest 400 people, released Tuesday.
His net worth dropped 19% from the previous year to $2.6 billion. Trump snagged a spot on the 2022 list with a reported net worth of $3.2 billion. His fellow billionaires, meanwhile, recouped the $500 billion they had collectively lost in 2022 to reach $4.5 trillion in assets. Forbes credited the bounce-back to rebounding stock markets and a tech boom driven by artificial intelligence. Tellingly, tech bros saw the lion’s share of gains, with a collective net-worth bump of $300 billion over 2022.
