Taylor Swift has yet to publicly endorse a presidential candidate but former President Donald Trump quickly accepted AI-manipulated photos of her supposed endorsement.
In one photo, Swift is depicted as Uncle Sam with text that reads. "Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump." Other photos show Swift fans wearing "Swifties for Trump" T-shirts.The post also appears to be labeled "satire" with a headline that reads "Swifties turning to Trump after ISIS foiled Taylor Swift concert."
"It's no secret that millions of young female voters consider themselves Swifties and we don't want them to have to choose between loving Taylor Swift and supporting their conservative ideologies at the ballot box in November," she said.after police arrested two people on suspicion of planning attacks inspired by the Islamic State group.
