The New Jersey Turnpike Authority’s “other” widening project — which would add a third lane to the existing two lanes in each direction between exits 1 and 4 in South Jersey — has flown under the radar and not gotten the same opposition as a larger widening project in Hudson County.in South Jersey. It calls on Gov. Phil Murphy to scuttle the project, which is still in the planning phase.— which had 113 signatures as of Thursday afternoon — cites several reasons to oppose the project.
