Don’t prosecute those who attempt suicide, says Kit Siang
Senior politician Lim Kit Siang has called on the government to speed up legislative action to decriminalise suicide attempts, which has been put on hold since 2019, as the country sees an unprecedented high in suicide and suicide-attempt rates amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
