PETALING JAYA: Domestic trade and cost of living minister Salahuddin Ayub has advised consumers against panic buying during the upcoming festive season as there is sufficient supply of goods. Salahuddin said the scheme was aimed at creating a win-win situation with consumers benefiting from reasonable prices and traders not burdened for too long as the scheme would only be enforced for 16 days.“I understand that we celebrate Aidilfitri for a month but we need to consider the overall supply chain to ensure it benefits everyone,” he said.
